The forsythia is a bright, yellow flowering bush, that blooms in early spring. Seen as the first sign of a new season, the blooming of the forsythia indicates a time of hope and renewal. Just as the forsythia blooms its tender flowers, its resilience for withstanding harsh elements maintains its growth - forsythia is lovely in its blooming, while it remains hardy through the process. The name Forsythia was chosen because of its close association with the process of counseling, recovery, healing, and maintaining hope. When you enter therapy, your vulnerability allows for growth during times when you may not feel particularly strong. Through time and commitment to the therapeutic process, you will build upon your resilience, and eventually, you will feel full of new life, just like the forsythia.

"For years I'd been trying to address my anxiety and general discomfort in my daily life, and I never really succeeded with a therapist. And then I met Kathryn! She was able to piece together all the snippets of my life I could give her, and identify the root of my problems, giving me the answers I've been looking for forever. She's helped me get on a path to not just feeling better, but also being a better person with genuine raw compassion for myself and others. I feel so much more content with my life and genuinely awakened thanks to Kathryn. Love her!!"

(Testimonial from a client after counseling with Kathryn for 2 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety, self-esteem, compassion fatigue, and ADHD)
